The Waters Edge Restaurant, Southampton, Hampshire is set on the famous river Hamble with outstanding views across the river. The premises is seperated into four areas which is ideal for weddings, parties or funtions. The restaurant seats 50 people comfortably (max 70) and with a bar (50 people), conservatory (40 people), outside terrace and large patio area we are easily able to accommodate both receptions and evening functions. 
 
The Waters Edge benefits from an executive chef - proprietor Nick Cross and his chefs who are able to produce superb cuisine and are only to pleased to meet with any special dietary requirements that you may need for the occasion.

Select you’re choices for your party from the menu below. Choose from two starters, three main courses & two sweets. Once you have done this you can add the menu choices to your invites, and ask for their choices then return them to us with your table plan for food ordering purposes.  
 
Starters 
Roast parsnip and carrot soup with crusty bread (v) 
Baby Gem bites. Crispy scampi tails and whitebait with a dill and lemon mayonnaise 
Chicken, pistachio nut and fig parfait served with toasted butter brioche 
Wild mushroom and asparagus risotto served with parmesan shavings and dressed with wild rocket leaf 
 
Main courses 
Roast sirloin of beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding served with fresh vegetables and pan gravy 
Roast loin of pork with crispy crackling and apple sauce served with roast potatoes and pan gravy 
Baked breast of chicken with prosciutto served with green vegetables and roast potatoes 
Butter grilled salmon, baby spinach and broccoli served with a creamed dill and white wine beurre blanc 
Penne pasta with wild mushroom, peppers and parmesan shavings served with a cream white wine sauce and garlic bread 
Mushroom Wellington with tarragon dressed salad leaves and new potatoes
